The governors act as an important link between the school, Tower Hamlets Education Authority and the local community. We are ultimately responsible for the running of the school. Although we leave the day to day running of the school to Rebecca Abrahams / Nimesha Nagahawatte, we have ultimate responsibility for the curriculum, resources spending and appointment and dismissal of staff.

I have worked in this school for almost a year and I can confidently say that Harbinger is like a rose among thorns when it comes to schools! The ethos of the school ensures that all children receive a well rounded education that not only concentrates on academic aspects but the emotional wellbeing of students. Of course there are areas that the school is working on to develop and become even better. Having said that, staff are supportive, caring and although they may not always get it right - they all strive to be the best that they can be!
