Good Manors
Queenswood Lodge is the fourth Good Manors Day Nursery which opened late Autumn 2020 in Waterlooville. This old family home from the 1920s served as a doctor's surgery for many years but has been refurbished into an amazing new nursery. From our family, to yours: Good Manors Day Nurseries offer quality care and education, 51 weeks a year, for children aged from three months to five years.

Our home from home, well looked after environments allow all children to thrive. Built in the early 1900's and previously a family home, this beautiful old building has been refurbished to be a light and airy day nursery. For over twenty years, our family-run Good Manors Day Nurseries have been offering quality care and education, 51 weeks a year, for children aged from three months to five years.

For over twenty years, our family-run Good Manors Day Nurseries have been offering quality care and education, 51 weeks a year, for children aged from three months to five years. Two of our nurseries are in Fareham and our third is in North End, Portsmouth. Our home from home, well looked after environments allow all children to thrive.
We understand that as a parent, sending your most precious thing in the world - your child - to nursery can be a daunting experience. If you decide you would like to register your child with Good Manors you will receive a registration pack that needs to be completed and returned. We will then ensure we have the space available to offer you a space.
The nursery is a home from home, with plenty of interesting shaped rooms and spaces for the children to explore. Each room is furnished with natural furniture, with a strong mix of resources for all ages with an emphasis on natural resources over plastic.

With the local library and shopping centre on our doorstep we strive to get out into the local community weekly enabling the children to get very familiar with the surroundings in the local community. We have a very large, enclosed garden that has a sand pit, water play area, seating area with bug hotel, digging area, "The Lodge Pod", vegetable patch, mud kitchen, large artificial lawn, and a play fort.
The nursery is all situated on one level, with three large, open rooms available for the children to explore. Each room is furnished with natural furniture, with a strong mix of resources for all ages with an emphasis on natural resources over plastic. Both Fareham Leisure Centre and the park surrounding it, as well as Fareham town centre, are a short distance from the nursery.

Both our children adored their time at Good Manors. The staff were so friendly, caring and professional that we never had to worry about leaving our children to go to work. From the baby room through to the preschool room, they enjoyed a huge range of activities, loved the food and made loads of great friends.
