Services
For Families living in Portsmouth with 2 year old children you may be entitled to 15hours funding! Payments can be made weekly/monthly according to your agreed payment plan at the point of registration. Fees in advance are not required, however invoices must be paid on/by the last working day of each month, to avoid a late payment charge.
At Top Tots we are committed to the inclusion of all children. All children have the right to be cared for and educated to devlop to their full potential alongside each other through positive expereinces, to enable them to share opportunities and experences and develop and learn from each other. We provide a positive and welcoming enviroment where children are supported according to their indivudal needs.
Based in Portsmouth, Top Tots has a team of friendly, experienced nursery staff, ready to meet your childcare needs. Our nursery staff have completed an extensive range of various qualifications and training to ensure all the needs of the individual children are met on a daily basis. Qulifications range from BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies - working towards level 3 & 4 in Early Years Educator.
Aside from providing top quality day nursery services in Portsmouth, we also offer children a variety of delicious, nutritionally balanced snacks. All snacks and drinks are included in nursery fees. Meal times are a social occasion at our nursery where children sit with their friends and eat fresh foods.
Canidates need to have a passion in working with children and ensuring the best possible outcome for all children by meeting indivudual needs and providing a stimulating enviroment to extend learning opportunities. Training including Speech and language, dealing with challenging behaviour & safeguarding children are all part of the induction entry to the nursery.

Top Tots Day Nursery (located in the John Pounds Centre) has been a life-changing experience for our little girl. All of the ladies in the Pond Room (the baby room) are absolutely wonderful; I can’t sing their praises enough. They are kind, helpful and most of all, make your babies feel loved when you have to be busy elsewhere! It’s so nice seeing… her happy with the girls. Massive shout out and credit due to Tia, Ashleigh, Natalie, Cerys and Shelley who have taken the time to get to know our cheeky munchkin; we know she loves you! So happy we picked Top Tots for our son! He started at 8 months and has gone from strength to strength here - he loves it and is so excited to arrive each morning! The girls here are fantastic - you can really tell they care about each of the kids and it's great to see how my son's learning is developing through his learning log! Can't recommend highly enough!

Our oldest is just finishing at Top Tots since joining aged six months. His report is showing that he in the highest tier for 95% of the metrics, and has always shown a greater degree of development than children who haven't attended (this) nursery. More importantly all the staff treat him as their own, and he loves them as if they were family. … I can't list all the times they have gone above and beyond, but the most noteworthy instance is when a member of staff (selflessly) ate lots of kinder eggs to help our son find the missing Spider-man toy he needed to complete the set.
