Nurseries are an essential part of our modern, everyday life but choosing the right nursery for your young family can be a highly emotional and daunting task. With Alphabet Corner, you can put your mind completely at rest. That's because our Director is a parent too. All of these questions are very important to us and with Alphabet Corner Nursery you get the Director who is a mother of two wonderful children.
Her personal and professional experience gives her the passion and drive to create a safe, inviting environment to provide children the best possible opportunity to reach their individual potential. Studies have shown that children who attend day nurseries are more confident because of social interaction with other children from an early age.

Services
We've been caring for children since 2008, and in 2010 we opened our dedicated baby nursery, Little Alphabet. Find out more about us, our staff and our facilities below. Alphabet Corner has a higher ratio of qualified staff to children that exceeds the OFSTED requirements. Which means that our standard of childcare is consistently higher than most.
For children who are usually walking, to around three years of age, our Toddler Room is brimming with learning activities. We recognise that toddlers are at a stage where they can begin to fine-tune their physical, emotional and motor skills with proper adult support. So in the Alphabet Corner Toddler Room, we work with parents and carers towards achieving key goals for toddlers such as toilet training, personal hygiene and independent feeding.
We at Alphabet Corner are committed to providing the best daycare environment to help your child prepare for school and make the transition to school life an easy one. Communication skills are enhanced through music and movement. Children are encouraged to explore rhythm and sounds which stimulates their sensory experiences and prepares the platform for reading through making letter sounds, fun.
There's no doubt that outdoor experience provides a wealth of extended learning opportunities for children of any age. Every child will gain so much from the freedom of choice our garden offers. With so many ways for your child to learn and develop outdoors, our garden is the ideal place (and the children think so too).
With 18 qualified staff on site and a higher ratio of qualified staff to children that exceeds the OFSTED requirements, you can rest assured that your child is being treated as an individual. Extremely robust, comprehensive recruitment and vetting procedures are implemented to ensure that all adults working with the children are suitable to do so.
