I hope that you will be able to find whatever you are looking for and that you enjoy sharing our experiences. If you cannot find what you need please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are a small school situated on the outskirts of Southampton; moments away from the bustling docks and only a few miles from the picturesque New Forest.

The school dates back to 1859 where it first started providing early schooling for the local community it still serves today. Over the years we have seen many changes but none as exciting as moving to a brand new building in 2010. Our wonderful new environment assists us with ensuring our children are well equiped for their next stage in education and 21st century life.
Services
To provide a happy and caring environment that promotes positive self-esteem and a respect for others. To provide stimulating and challenging learning opportunities, enabling every child to fulfil his/her potential. To achieve high educational standards with a comprehensive quality delivery of the national Curriculum.
Being such a small school enables us to get to know all of our children and their families very well. This is achieved through offering our parents opportunities to come in to school as often as possible as well as making the staff easily accessible before and after school. This close liaison between parents and staff helps to give the children a feeling of security and confidence within our close-knit community.
The children were delighted to find an exciting play frame in the playground upon their return to school after the summer holidays! Everyone loved the challenge of swinging, climbing and negotiating their way across the rolling log! We would like to thank our community for choosing us to donate their tokens to Tesco Bags of Help Community Grant Scheme, which made this latest addition possible.
Martin Sinclair, with 50 caps for England's Cerebral Palsy football team and representative at two Paralympic Games, came in to officially open our new Playground Fitness Area. Funding was won from the Big Lottery Fund for the sole purpose of purchasing new outdoor exercise equipment for the children.
Redbridge Primary School's colour is Red and we require all children to come to school in uniform. Children should have a PE kit in school in a labelled bag. All items need to have their child's name on. These kits should stay in school and will be sent home for washing during the school holidays. You can purchase our Logo uniform from Koolskools - Shirley, Skoolkit - Totton or by using the website online at www.skoolkit.co.uk.

This is a good school. had some good moments, could do with some improvements. the cutlery had food on it still but the food was OK. And some teachers were sexist but i just ignored them. they left so its calm. If you go to this school, you will remember it if you have gone through it. and if you have any troubles try to sort it out and not leave it. BIG UPS MS PORTER lol

Started in reception so i was a bit late, but the teachers helped me get so many friends so quickly. Especially in year 2 and 6 they give you a lot of extra help if you need it. They dont teach for the money, they teach for the growth of the students

A brilliant primary school, good quality teaching and an extremely disciplined headteacher. It's ashame it only became this good during the year I left, in 2006!
