While the government is asking everyone to stay at home, it can be confusing to know what to do. Please see the attached leaflet attached for further on when your child is ill or injured it is very difficult to decide if/when to call your child's GP, NHS 111, or go the Accident and Emergency Department (A&E).
Feeling anxious or overwhelmed is completely understandable at a time like this, especially if you are struggling with mental health or are concerned about someone with a physical illness. The Children's Society mental and emotional health resource vault is full of advice on issues that may be worrying young people.
We would like to warmly welcome you as a prospective parent or carer of Bitterne CE Primary School. We are passionate about working with parents and carers to provide the best possible education for the children of Bitterne. Our school has a strong ethos based on our core Christian values of love, trust and forgiveness.
We are a very inclusive school and work hard to make sure all children make progress throughout the school. Some children may need some support for their learning, emotional and behavioural needs. We work closely with specialist outside agencies, when this is appropriate. We liaise very closely with parents, your child's previous school or preschool when a child with special needs starts at the school.
The pupil premium is allocated to schools based on the number of children known to be eligible for 'Free School Meals' ( FSM). For 2012-2013 this was widened to include not only children currently eligible for FSM but any child who has been eligible for FSM within the last 6 years. It is really important to the school that every child eligible for ' Free School Meals' is registered with the school.
