More frequent washing of hands; increased ventilation; additional cleaning in the school; all staff and visitors to the school socially distanced. The Government has provided additional funds for schools to support pupils to catch up for lost teaching during the school closure in the Summer of 2020.

If you are visiting the school, please approach the office, ring the bell and wait for assistance. You may need to wear a face covering whilst in school and you will need to sanitise on entry and exit. All phones must be handed in to the office - without exception. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils in our care through stringent safeguarding policies and procedures at our school.

Live information about enforced school closures - closures due to adverse weather, such as snow or flooding, or problems with buildings, such as no heating or electricity or burst pipes. Alternatively, if you are unhappy with anything or feel we can do something to improve-please come and see us so we can talk about your ideas or problems.
Eco-Schools is an international award program that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life. We address a variety of environmental themes, ranging from litter and waste to healthy living and biodiversity. The children formulate an action plan based on an environmental review that takes place at the beginning of every year.
We work hard to ensure that teaching in all key stages and subjects, is outstanding and never less than consistently good. We do this through implementing quality assurance programmes and processes. Our PE curriculum offers a coherently planned sequence of lessons to help teachers ensure they have progressively covered the requirements of the PE National Curriculum.
We teach children in a safe, happy and friendly atmosphere with excellent academic standards combined with the recognition that children have different needs and progress at different rates. Our topic this half term is Tudors and the Core Knowledge document can be found here. The consistent planning and sequencing of all curriculum areas recognises the importance of prior knowledge and the differing needs of our children.
