Yikes. Quite a nice place. We had the paella. Wonderful. We shared a bottle of wine. Also wonderful. Our waitress was friendly and just as attentive as we needed. I totally recommend and will be back.

I studied abroad in Spain and whenever I have a craving for tapas this is my go to. They don't put on the trendy spin, they keep things more authentic than anywhere I've been. Great service and amazing food.

An upscale Spanish place in downtown Arlington Heights. Delicious food with a very wide spread of options for vegetarians. We tried a few hot tapas and then feasted on the veggie Paella which was fantastic. Definitely big on the proportions for a party of two but it was absolutely worth the wait. Would definitely come back again and recommend this place to anyone looking to try out Spanish cuisine.

Exquisite! We had chorizos a la Española, crab cakes and the mixed paella. The chorizo sauce was a bit salty, but we loved everything. We will be back next time.

We’ve been going to La Tasca Tapas for years! They always have the freshest food and best service! This year we went to celebrate my 30th birthday. I was nervous to dine out because of COVID, however when we saw how La Tasca Tapas spaced out their outdoor seating, and had the precautions taken to make sure we would be dining safely, I felt better.
Additionally, the food did not disappoint! We ordered 8 tapas and they were perfectly timed out and came out of the kitchen piping hot! It was perfect.
Rob, our server, was also FANTASTIC. He was attentive, quick with service, and refilled our waters

Nice tapas place in downtown Arlington heights. Service was amazing. Food was good, and many plates to choose from. For dessert their flan was the best part of the meal.

I was determined to try some paella after an LSO concert and was pleased to see La Tasca as a close-by option open at 10 p.m. The lift was also welcome, even if it was dirty and littered inside. The basement level restaurant was itself nicely decorated in a faux-Spanish theme, and the background music, while sometimes striding out from the background, was not intrusive. The men's toilet was clean and spacious.
I was greeted promptly and in a friendly way by the waiter and bartender and given my choice of seats in the largely empty restaurant. The glass of Sangria I ordered was delivered

Great sangria and super friendly staff. Skip the olives they were basic. Food was just ok and on the spicy side which was fine with me. Overall I'd hope to find better tapas in London but I'd come back for the sangria.

My Cousin and I stumbled upon La Tasca as we were looking for a lunch spot. The menu is very extensive, and everything we ordered was well prepared, served nicely and extremely delicious. We had Patatas Brava, Gambas Pil Pil, Montadito De Cerde and Empanadas De Carne. They were all very good, and very large serving size as far as Tapas go. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the prices were decent for teh serving size. I will definitely be going back, as my Wife loves Tapas as well!

A group of 12 of us dined at lunchtime here. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food though the more discerning said that as it was a chain the food was pre-prepared. I had the veggie paella which did not take long to prepare. We had a gourmet card and some vouchers which made a difference to the bill. There was some confusion over the tapas as someone's meal became confused with other tapas so we asked that a second lot was prepared and given to the right person. Initially they charged us for both but we managed to get this removed.

Didnt realise how big this place was, but once you go downstairs there are a shed load of tables which is particularly handy if youre looking for a post-work sangria/corona.
I on the other hand was not. Well, I was, but since I wasn't drinking that month, settled on a lovely lime and soda!
My "dates" had a couple of jugs of sangria and we collectively shared some tapas which was 'a-ok'. Alas, I canna remember what we had, but I shall be making a conscious effort to remember going forward as it kinda defeats the point of reviewing somewhere if you cant comment on the goods

I've been to this La Tasca at Liverpool Street a few times in the evening after work and it has never failed to fill me up with delicious tapas.

It doesn't get too busy so the volume inside the restaurant is at a good level, you can speak to the people you're dining with, without shouting across the table.

The waiters and waitresses always take our order within a good amount of time and the food always arrives quite quickly which is great as after a long day at work, I am starving! They have always got our order spot on but it can be quite hard to get their attention for the

The only nice thing about the pace is the decor. Other than that the food is as far as it can be from Spanish. Potatos and everything we ordered seems to come from frozen food bag. Shame, will never return again.

Good cheese board, fair range of cervezas. A big subterranean formulaic tapas bar really, obviously no one that works here is Spanish and they have neither been there nor actually tasted tapas. The tortilla is distinctly mediocre, the potatoes lacking the necessary fluffiness, actually, they seem like those ones sold in supermarkets.

Having been to La Tasca a number of times and being familar with what to order we ordered the favourites selection. I must say this was the worst meal I have experienced at a La Tasca chain. The food was tasteless and the Chorizo had absolutely no spice let alone flavour. The restaurant wasn't extremely busy when we got there and the waiters were relatively quick to serve us but also seemed to be quick to get rid of us and take our plates away before we had finished. I wasn't too impressed by this and I don't know whether it was because they were getting busy, but would hope that

This place had tasty food and was completely reasonable when it came to cost. We got a lunch special of five dishes with a side of bread and dipping oil for £13.50, making this an absolute bargain for London. Everything was delicious, served promptly by a nice and attentive server, and really... you can't ask for much more. This isn't a five-star review because we weren't blown away by it all, but it was a damn fine lunch at a great price, and sometimes, that's all you need.

I doubt this place will knock your socks off, but that's okay. Go here and relax. I'm guessing

Been here several times over the years.

I cannot say if it is simply a question of my tastes changing as I get older but I do feel that I enjoyed the food at this La Tasca far more when I first went to it.

Have they changed they way it's cooked? The quality of the ingredients? Or is it just me?

It's hard to say. Certainly nothing here is terrible. You can get an okay meal here. But I do not really get the feeling with any of the dishes that what I'm eating is excellent.

This is very much just my opinion though and is almost certainly largely decided by my own preferences

Solid food for decent prices.

Their menu was so huge that we decided to go with the house selection of tapas and a pitcher of sangria. The house selection of tapas doesn't look like a lot of food, but between two people we ended up being stuffed. I especially liked the chorizo, the meatballs, and the calamari.

Next time I'll try the chef's selection of tapas!

I went a week ago and I can't say I was overly impressed. Having recently come back from Madrid I knew there would be a difference in the food slightly but everything seemed to have been previously frozen and then deep fried or it came out of a sweaty packet.

Nothing tasted overly fresh but it was a little on the greasy side and the oil in which it had been fried in seemed to taste a little old too.

The only saving grace was the 50% voucher but at the same time if we would have been paying full price we would have been paying for something I wouldn't like to serve to someone I didn

Not bad. It's a bit pricey but then I usually find that with tapas. Foodwise I would say that the tapas here would rank as one of the best I have had. I also enjoyed the Cava Sangria, as opposed to the usual one made with red wine. It's a very tasty drink and is a bit more of a quencher than the regular variety.

The venue is not bad, it's basement location means it's easy to forget you are near such a busy and unpleasant part of London.

I probably will be back here but I can't quite give it 4 stars despite the good food and friendly staff. The size of the bill and

They have this amazing deal after 5pm, unlimited tapas for £10 per person, and from a pretty good selection too! Not sure if it is everyday or just on Mondays, but my friends and I had a really good meal.

Having tried a couple of tapas places before, I have to say that the quality of the food here was just about average, with the vegetable paella very disappointing, but the meatballs and fried fish really good. The calamari was good too, although a bit salty, but when we ordered seconds we instructed the waitress to tell the chef to put less salt and it came out perfect!

Service was very

I love this place. I know there are classier tapas bars out there but why give up a good thing when you find it? I have been here countless times over the last 3 years and really enjoy the atmosphere, clientele and of course the food and drink! Anything on the menu is worth trying. The food isn't worthy of any Michelin stars but it's all tasty and the house red rioja is always a winner. The staff are friendly too and the music is great with salsa class and live music nights. I can't vouch for any of the other venues in this chain but every time I visit this one I completely forget

Not the best tapas in the world, but far from the worst, and reasonably priced, especially with the 2-for-1 offers they often provide. This branch is underground so is a little gloomy, particularly the corner tables.

Last time I ate here the waiter spilled a drink across the table and wasn't overly apologetic, but other than that the service was perfectly fine though, like the food, nothing to write home about.
