At this current time we welcome both members and non members with pre booked swimming tickets. This is done for the safety of our guests to help regulate the flow of people in and out of the pool. Anyone who turns up at the pool without a pre booked session will not be allowed to swim. Please visit our General Admission page and Pool Membership page to find out more about tickets and membership.
Please note, it is free for hotel guests to use the pool. Swims will need to be booked in however this can be done on arrival by speaking to the lifeguard team. Tickets are priced at 10 per session and all sessions must be booked through our TicketSource page. All swim sessions start on the hour and last 45 minutes to allow time for us to turnaround the pool for the next session.
The treatment will start with a vigorous back exfoliation, followed by your traditional ESPA back, neck and shoulder massage. Your back will then be covered in ESPA marine mud and then you will be turned over for a dreamy ESPA express facial. The treatment will end with a back moisturise to complete your ultimate back experience.

Nice and quiet. Rooms clean. Not tried the food yet. But if you are worried about catching the new covid this is your place. The staff doesn't wear masks. Very dissatisfied about it.
My girlfriend was here 4 months ago and had an English breakfast, this time only continental and the young man at the desk told her that they have never served that type of breakfast. In essence calling her a liar.

Stayed for one night, specifically to take advantage of the beautiful outside spring fed pool. The hotel website was out of date so I could not swim when I arrived which was very disappointing but I had a lovely swim the next morning. The hotel itself is a bit tired and the owners really don’t seem to have invested to make the most of the location and history of the hotel. It was also very understaffed. That said the staff on duty were very helpful and could not have been more welcoming. I also ate in the restaurant which was pretty good value. I would probably not stay again but will definitely

I booked this hotel last minute on Monday and stayed Monday evening.
I was welcomed by the very friendly Gardener John who happened to be in the car park.
The young fellow at reception was.very welcoming and professional,
The room was immaculate and spacious, the outside pool was a real treat, and sally who oversees the pool was so friendly and helpful.
I’d definitely use this hotel again.

I chose this venue for my proposal to my fiance and I couldn't have been happier to do so.
The welcome we received was excellent and staff was very helpful and polite.
Massage we received was top quality, food was out of this world and the room was spotless.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and can't wait to go back again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderful.

Had a good one night break here, arrived to a first drink free and an room upgrade. Lovely log fire in the bar and a delious dinner with wine, then back to the log fire to chat to other residents. Next day, a good continental breakfast before going to watch swimmers in natural spring fed, large outdoor, swimming pool. Tempted but maybe next time. Wet suits available for swimmers but the water not that cold. Only downer was the temperature in our room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, thanks to the staff.

There is no doubt that there are some issues with this hotel such as inconsistent staffing and attention to detail, and some dodgy heating issues. But the staff really are very friendly and helpful and it's a fantastic location. The natural pool is a wonderful bonus. Dinner was far superior than what one would normally expect. Go with an open mind and be prepared to deal with some quirkiness and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
