Our grounds are out of this world and can be seen clearly from many of our comfortable bedrooms, along with views of the fantastic surroundings. A short stroll through our back garden takes you straight onto The Tissington Trail where you can cycle walk and meander to your heart's content. Services
The Newton House Suite can accommodate 100 for a meal or 200 for a Buffet. It has its own dance floor, and we can provide a big screen and sound, toilets and licensed bar to ensure your guests have all the necessary facilities for a great time. We offer a range of packages to suit your style and budget.
PLEASE NOTE: The Restaurant is currently closed, we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Baz has brought a fresh new, seasonal approach to the food we offer. Everything is made in house from scratch, and the monthly menus reflect what is at it's very best at that moment. We have also taken the time to source suppliers that are in a 10-mile radius from us.
Pedal through the Peak district on this easy route through the limestone ravine of Dovedale, finishing with superb views of the White Peak's undulating green dales. The Tissington trail follows the route of the old Buxton to Ashbourne railway - opened in 1899, closed in 1966 - passing through the stunning Peak District.
There is a 15, per night, additional charge for guests who would like to bring their dog(s). Please check with us first that a dog friendly room is available on the dates you require. Please note: some dog friendly rooms are on the first floor, again, please check with us. All dogs must be well behaved and on a lead within the hotel and grounds, all mess must be cleaned up by guests.

Cancelled our stay without reason 10 months after we made it 2 weeks before an event, poor practice.

Stayed in the log cabin that is available to hire in the grounds of the hotel.
Lovely cabin, clean and tidy, all expected amenities. Little light on kitchen equipment but enough to get by for a few days.
Recommend for a family visiting the area.
