We stayed at Whiston Hall for one night recently as we had spent the day at Trentham Gardens and then were going to Alton Towers the following day. It is a lovely hotel in a quiet location with fabulous views over the surrounding hills and countryside. There was only us three and another couple staying the evening we were there and we got great service from the friendly lady who showed us to our room and served us drinks, dinner and breakfast.
Whiston Hall really is a hidden gem with great views, great rooms and a superb freshly cooked breakfast for the the morning after the night before! Vicky, Ashley and the team pulled out the stops to ensure we and all of our guests had a fantastic day. Everything ran like clockwork and nothing was too much trouble.
An amazing venue I had my 40th there recently. The owners and their staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We felt like we were at home it was so relaxed but at the same time they were professional and nothing was too much for them. We stayed over and the rooms were lovely, great value for money and a fab breakfast.
We had our wedding at Whiston and we can't fault them. So very helpful not just on the day but with the organisation from the moment we booked. Lovely people and stunning setting for a wedding, very quiet and Vicky and the rest of the team couldn't be more friendly and helpful! Had family stay for the whole weekend with children and they were all really impressed and pleased with the service provided by the hotel.

Blessed with beautiful views a round of golf here is a treat when lots of courses are unplayable or closed winter golf is usually possible here.
The greens have been improved beyond recognition. Only 9 holes that you can play twice at the moment. If you haven't visited for a while it's well worth a look. The hotel is comfortable and the staff helpful and pleasant.

Comfortable and quiet overnight stay in stunning surroundings. Touch of glamour in the rooms too. Really pleased that we were able to get a hot vegan brekkie the next morning. Bar until late although quiet so no issues with noise. Lovely host who was very welcoming. Set on a pretty golf course overlooking rolling hills although no view from the room where we stayed. Good for access to Alton Towers with free parking.

I can’t remember if I’ve already reviewed this place but I can say it’s top notch!
We held our wedding mid June 2021.
Everything was perfect. From the booking, the views, the fab food and the staff. All so very professional. And friendly too. The place, the decor, the views, were all stunning. We all (29) of us had a fab time. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious and breakfast very tasty.

Wow. I absolutely loved this hotel and the lovely owner and daughter we met. The customer care was genuine and very welcoming! We had two rooms booked very close together which was great. Dinner was enjoyed as was the breakfast. Our rooms were very spacious. I would highly recommend a visit for people who are visiting alton towers as its about 12 minutes away. And so quiet and relaxing.
