The Crown Hotel Longton is a no frills cheap Stoke on Trent Hotel, just a short drive from Stoke City Football Clubs home ground of Brittania Stadium. Our budget hotel in Staffordshire is very popular with visitors to Alton Towers which is just a 30 minute drive away and is located just off the A50 and minutes from the A500.

Both the M1 and M6 are 10 minutes drive. All rooms at the Crown Hotel Longton are ensuite with TV, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities. Free Wifi is available for guests in the Public Areas and the Hotel Car Park is free to guests.

Done what it said on the tin. budget hotel. a bit dated but clean warm tidy. 👌 10 mins altin towers after a 4 hour drive warmly greeted by friendly staff.

We checked in at the The Crown Hotel in Stoke-On-Trent for a couple of nights as we were working away.
I have kindly asked for a refund before I posted these photos but to no avail so I am proceeding to post them.

Nick the receptionist is a top bloke, proper genuine and kind guy. if your visiting Stoke on trent, definitely stay here. Great location and great price. 10 out of 10 for us.

Tired hotel. Desperately in need of updating.
No air con and they ask for £15 deposit for a fan. Small rooms. Drain smell in the room.
Bathroom tiles were cracked. Toilet didn't flush properly. Shower tray badly marked.
Staff however were extremely friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

It is absolutely dreadful. My pregnant girlfriend I got put in here for free and it was horrible. We arrived and there were police basically surrounding the building. The lock on the door was broke so anyone could basically walk in. There were stains on the bed. No TV, No Towels, No kettle. The room was falling apart and absolutely stunk. When we finally got to sleep and woke up, we were riddled with bites. Its absolutely vile. PLEASE DO NOT PAY TO STAY HERE. Please spend the extra 10 pound and stay at the quality hotel or holiday inn.

So outdated. Rooms was very small. No air con. Bathroom was clean but very tired. Shower so badly stained I didn't want to use it. Toilet didn't flush properly.
At 9pm staff knocked on my door to Inspect the smoke alarm!! ???
It hadn't gone off 🤷
Was told they offered breakfast and was given a list with prices. In the morning I was told they don't do breakfast 🤔

Considering the budget price it was very good value for money. It was clean, mostly quiet and the staff were lovely. It is also dog friendly. I have bad anxiety and the lady on reception quickly put me at ease. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the dingy area surrounding it, which can be a little loud during the night.
