After reading all of the reviews and seeing the awards, I was hugely disappointed with the curry. The medium and mild curry we shared had very little flavour and the chicken was not your usual ‘slice with a spoon’ experience I expect from Indian restaurants. The price was also severely overpriced and the experience we were left with didn’t equal the price paid. The leather of the furniture was also worn away and it was very cold so an overall unfortunate experience. I wouldn’t recommend.

My partner and I went with another couple expecting a lovely dining experience considering the amount of awards and news coverage Prana has received, but got met with utter disappointed.
The food was bland and tasteless, the servers were uninterested and rude, the food horribly overpriced, and the overall experience was just absolutely rubbish.
I can’t even slightly recommend this place, and you would do well to avoid it.

The food was OK. The staff were pleasant enough. But the prices are MAD. We had a similar standard of curry at a place by the Royal Albert Hall a month ago. We paid 20% less there than we did at Prana. Nice enough place but not worth the premium they charge

We have eaten at Prana a number of times now, in the restaurant before the covid-19 pandemic and with takeaways since. Most recently was 7 January. They have never let us down, either with service or with the food. I particularly recommend the lamb shank and the chicken korma is a hit with our daughter, but we have in the past had other dishes which we also thoroughly enjoyed. The takeaway service is good; our order has invariably been ready for us to collect from the entrance to the restaurant at the time requested - or even before. Thoroughly recommended!

Can't give no stars.
Overpriced rip off.
Having eaten in many many restaurants for many years, the price of the food bears no relation to the quality of food.
Honestly. I've eaten food that tasted twice as good for half their price.
The lamb dish was devoid of flavour. Service charge ridiculous.
Complained to baseball hatted manager who obviously has fenced off complaints before, defensive and full of irrelevant excuses, he was uninterested that I and my two friends were massively dissatisfied with the food and its price.
Avoid like the plaque.
I'd rather nail my own pelvis to a cake stand

Dreadful, miserable service with grim staff, bland food, small menu and huge prices. It pains me to say this, but Prana deserves to fail. Worst curry I have had in Cambridge, or anywhere, to be fair.

Visited on the 11th of December 2021. We really enjoyed our meal at Prana. We were looked after by a lady (I think the owner ). The food was of premium quality, with a sensible menu with just about the right number of dish’s to choose from. We enjoyed the Sikandari Lamb and Murgh Resela both were exceptional. We will be back again should we visit Cambridge again!

The prices are so high!! Lived in London and travelled and never seen such high prices. Side dishes cost £9, popodums cost £1.40. Many other Indians closeby to try. Such bland food with limited menu and no tandoori dishes.

Food is delicious, but twice I have received a "complimentary dairy yoghurt" on my completely vegan / dairy free orders.
Very disappointing when they advertise vegan food.

Ordered a typical takeaway on Friday :) Sesame courgette was great and garlic naan was good. and both new to me, all tasted different to our local curry shop. would recommend maybe order another dish to what you'd normally get?

If you're looking for an upmarket dining experience, then Prana is one of the go to restaurants in Cambridge. An Award-Winning restaurant, clean and sophisticated decor makes it very different from the usual curry house establishment. On the occasions we dined at Prana , we had excellent food and experiences. The food is all about the quality ingredients and not about overpowering spices. If you want your usual weekend curry hit, then this may not be the restaurant for you, however for a upmarket experience with the highest quality ingredients and great environment, Prana is a perfect choice.
