Services
We aim to create a warm, stimulating and challenging atmosphere where all children and adults will feel valued and welcomed. Everyone contributes creatively to the life of the school, striving together for improvements. School and home co-operate to foster the development of the children, not only through the curriculum but also through personal and social dimensions.
SCC also deal with admissions to secondary school for Year 7. All applications for Year 1 to Year 6 (including Reception, if applying after September) must be made direct to Hardwick Primary School. If you have any questions about admissions or you want to visit Hardwick Primary School, please contact the school office, who will be happy to assist you.
The Government has provided additional funding to improve the provision of Physical Education (PE) and Sport in primary schools. Every primary school receives a block amount plus an additional sum based on the number of pupils on roll.

The PE and Sport Premium provides an excellent opportunity for the school to further improve its PE provision and to do so in the wider context of the Bury Schools Partnership, fully utilising the skills and experience across the group of schools. At Hardwick Primary we pride ourselves with providing inspirational opportunities to make learning both enjoyable and memorable.
At Hardwick Primary School we have a strong culture of safeguarding. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We believe that all those who come into contact with children and families in their everyday work, including those who do not have a specific role in relation to safeguarding children, have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
At Hardwick Primary School we value the abilities and achievements of all pupils. Our aim is to ensure that all children, whatever their need or disability, make good progress throughout their school life. We work closely with parents and other agencies to ensure that the needs of each child are met.
