Busaba is modern Bangkok eating in the heart of London. As in Thailand, our dishes are made to share, and include a flavoursome selection of freshly prepared salads, Pad Thais, curries and more. With a large portion of our menu being plant-based, we aim to feed the soul, body and mind. Gan Gin Gan Yuu means 'as you eat, so you are'.
It is an axiom which parallels Brillat-Savarin's 'you are what you eat' but goes further to suggest that you also define yourself by your approach to food. The choice of ingredients, preparation and presentation are all indicative of who you are. Our living ethos is 'Sookjai'. Based on traditional Buddhist values, sookjai is about avoiding the everyday chaos that distracts you.

Absolutely lovely food. Well presented, lots of helpful staff happy to explain menu. Children's friendly . Very busy venue bit they don't rush you. Only downside no room for a buggy or pram unless quite time. The food was tasty, can taste spices. Excellent kids menu, small plates available for not so big eater. Amazing place definitely go back everytime ❤

Very pleasant dine-in experienced. Food was delicious (as always). The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, it was a bit humid around London but the area were I was seated (open window) was airy and comfortable... The Filipino waiter, his very engaging, friendly and accommodating... A big thank you to Busaba!

Venue is lovely I particularly liked the window seat where you can people watch and drink wine with your lovely meal.

Food was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed my dish I thought everything was so flavourful and good. However, service was questionable. I told the lady who came to greet me that it was a table for one. She just kind of starred at me in confusion? Then when I was trying to get her attention to pay the bill, again she was just starring out the window towards my direction. I had to wave frantically. And there were 3 waiters just looking out the window, yet none of them acknowledged my presence. They automatically add a 10% service charge which I think is a bit ridiculous seeing as though they

Busaba was just walking distance from where we were staying. The presentation is good, the staff were very polite, very attentive. We love Asian food especially Thai food. The green curry was a little off as it was not spoil but the herbs that they put in it was not strong enough. The spring roll was a little starchy and not enough vegetables in it.

There is no excuse to eat here if you are in Shoreditch, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan. The food was ok, but there are so many fully vege or vegan options in the area I would have loved to try. (My excuse...Thai was requested, we were all very hungry, and this was the first thing we saw off the underground)
With that out of the way, walking Shoreditch in the evening before Christmas was a nice evening out. Lots of stalls, small shops, no chain stores. A ton of small inviting vegan restaurants. Very different from the Piccadilly/Kensington areas. I would consider staying in Shoreditch

First experience: many dishes on the menu were not available. The server managed to forget part of my order. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and it was not very good. My friend ordered a veg curry. That was OK but he had to wait forever for another serving of rice. My stomach doesn't feel so great after the meal :(

I want to give a 3.5 since the food we got was delicious and came out pretty fast but they had about half of the menu available! No juices no seaweed no salads!? Basically nothing green...
An extensive menu and cozy but fun atmosphere. The chicken satay was very tasty. The chicken pad Thai was dry and boring but some extra soy sauce and sriracha perked it up. I wanted to taste every single cocktail they sounded so good. Decent prices. I would recommend this as an easy choice for Thai food fusion.

I'd give it zero stars if yelp had an option for it. The food tasted horrible. The kitchen was not willing to work with my vegetarian needs. They ran out of tofu and refuse to make any substitutions for it. Like pls give me some extra mushrooms instead? Sorry we don't do that. I still went along hoping at least the flavors would be good but oh NO. I just moved to the building right next to this and was looking forward to making it my go to thai spot but I will NEVER visit again. Try Kinkao thai instead which is a 2 minute walk, cheaper and yes MUCH better food and service.

Came in close to closing time , but they still welcomed us and didn't shame us =) Service was really quick and friendly. Started off with the most delicious fruit drinks I have ever encountered: Guava Collins-please just get one so you don't miss out. For my entrée, I ordered one of the Rice Sets: Chili beef Jasmine rice. It was really flavorful and the spice level was hot and perfect. I've had this dish in other Thai restaurants back in Ohio-but they call it Beef Larb. I loved the décor and the cafeteria style dining experience. It's not too expensive either. I

We loved this place. Our former host son took us here. It is one of his favourites. We hosted him well. This is superior modern Asian food. We had a wide variety of dishes with chicken, duck, fish, calamari etc. they were all superb. We liked the space itself too. Service was efficient and friendly and prices very reasonable. We had a wonderful night here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Solid Thai place with a great dinner special of starter plus main for 12.95. They also have a five pound off offer if you download their app but we had trouble getting the credit card to work for this one. The food was quite good and the ambience great - my mom and I shared a fish cakes and a king prawn green curry. The curry came with lots of prawns and the fish cakes were super flavorful. For someone whose last Thai food experience was in Thailand this was a great way to satisfy my Thai cravings - highly recommend for anyone in the area

You've read all the Busaba Eathai reviews so I'll keep it short. Love the fish cakes, chicken satay and the wok noodles which I consume with many lychee martinis. What makes this one different than most is that it's new, you can have your own table rather than share, staff are friendly and attentive and if you're a loo snob (like me) then you'll be fine here. Beautiful decorated as well. I dare you to hit the gong on the way out. Staff were shocked but made them laugh!

Came here because my friends and I were craving for some Asian food. I was really disappointed in the food we got here... they weren't that good. We got the curry, calamari, pad thai and most of them were flavorless. The calamari was really chewy. Service was also a bit slow even though there were only about 4-5 tables filled when we were there for lunch. Wouldn't really recommend this place, I think the food you can get out in the markets might be better.

I have been to this restaurant before in a different location and enjoyed it, but the experience for brunch today was really poor.
The service was terrible - we had to wait a long time for anything that we asked for and were lucky if it turned up at all. We had to ask for cutlery (no spoon with the porridge, no knife with toast and jam), were offered water that never came and had to ask FOUR times for a coffee.
After asking the same man twice, I then asked a woman and was clear that I'd already ordered it but it hadn't arrived. Five minutes later, still no coffee. I asked her again

Love their lunch menu, good value and varieties of choices.
For £9.5 it is definitely a no brainier.
Tried Beef roti with sweet potato fries today and both of them are delicious and just the right portion.
The pulled beef is juicy which lands on a roti full of butter flavour, not too oily and with a little crisp. And sweet potato fries are lightly salted and the hint of sweet is such amazing match.
Highly recommend.

Good food. Loved the pad Thai. The majority of the seating is communal. Luckily our seat mates were cool and friendly as we we made small talk.
Overall good experience but with so many great restaurants around London not sure if I would be rushing to come back hear. Service could have been slightly more attentive.
