The Fish House is a sea food restaurant in Newquay located on the world famous surfing beach, Fistral Beach and is just a stones throw from the sea. The inspiration for our food comes straight from the sea, using locally caught fish and shell fish straight from Newquay harbour. We use the best seasonal ingredients available, to create rustic dishes with authentic flavours.
What better way to finish a day on the beach than watching the sunset eating amazing food and soaking up the atmosphere.! Paul Harwood has lived in Cornwall for 30 years and is passionate about cooking seafood having learnt his skills working for Rick Stein for 14 years in Padstow. Paul has spent many years travelling the globe to exotic destinations sampling local cuisine but also fulfilling his other passion of surfing.

Similar to McGuires, The Fish House is always a solid dining choice in Pensacola. The food was good and the service was friendly. It's been a while since we got the crab claws and we think they changed up their sauce. I can't say for certain if it is different, but this batch was fantastic and I recommend the crab claws. They were crowded when we went, but we managed to squeeze in at the bar. Delicious food.

My fiancee took me here on our first date 6 years ago and it was incredible. Last night we got to relive that amazing experience and I can honestly say that the service and quality of food was once again outstanding. Thank you so much for making our evening so special and we will look forward to seeing you again in the future.

We finally visited The Fish House Fistral yesterday and it was certainly worth the wait!
I can honestly say it was the best meal we have all had in a very long time! The flavours and presentation were outstanding.
The staff were so welcoming and lovely to the children.

Great location to sit outside and look at the water, the boats, the fish jumping out of the water, and the sunset! The fried gulf shrimp with cheesy corn grits and collard greens were tasty. The key lime pie was topped with meringue- this was especially yummy!! This is a restaurant group and uses Cysco foods- so nothing really amazing, but decent, tasty, reasonably priced food in a nice location is sometimes all you need.

Food and service was wonderful. It's hard to pick a favorite because everything we had was great. The Soul rolls were fantastic and my husband who doesn't even like collard greens loved them. The grits ya-ya was the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. My husband ordered the crab stuffed flounder and ate every bite. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Pensacola.

Our large group of 11 dined here while on vacation. I chose this restaurant because it was highly recommended for their brunch options especially the World Famous Grits A YA YA.
Let me tell you, it was one of the BEST shrimp & grits dishes I’ve ever had. The grits were seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of Cajun flare. I also had the crab cakes as an appetizer but forgot to take a photo (silly me)! It was an interesting dish because the sauce was not the traditional remoulade sauce you’d normally get with crab cakes.
In addition to the tasty food, the staff was very accommodating

It was our first trip to Newquay. We booked a couple of places to eat that also seemed to be child friendly. The Fish House was our last meal of the holiday and we were glad to have saved it until last. The… food was delicious. Generous in portion size and flavour. Our little boy had fallen asleep just before our reservation. The staff watched and waited until he woke to bring out his meal even though we were happy for it to sit on the table (as that’s been our experience generally at other restaurants). The food here is FANTASTIC. Be mindful of the day you go because this place gets packed, and for good reason. The staff is prompt, the bartenders are great but the Food, very impressive for Pensacola. Make sure you make a stop here if passing by of if you live in Pensacola and have no passed by, take from a person born and raised in Miami, this place is on par.
