The food was beautiful and the service was great by all members of the staff, we loved the small quirky things such as the salt and pepper holders and we were so happy that we found this restaurant.What a find. Mawgan Porth beach welcomes dogs throughout the year and it is also on the South-west coast path making it a dog walking haven! Let your dog run free across the beach; roll in the soft sand, splash in the sea and jump into rockpools before you both head to Catch for a rest! We are open from 9am (ish) everyday throughout the summer months and Fri- Sun November - March so after a morning dog walk, pop in for a coffee and a bite to eat!

We are open 9am ish until 11pm everyday peak season; slightly more limited during the colder months. Call ahead to check our opening times. Mawgan Porth is one of the few Cornish beaches that allows unrestricted access for dogs all year round. We have specific spaces where your fury friend is welcome inside and out.

My wife and I visited this seafood restaurant during a weekday lunchtime. It was fairly busy despite being mid week and out of season although we did not have to book.
The restaurant is in a great location and stylish inside. I'm sure that booking is essential in season. My recollection is that the menu outside did not match the menu provided inside and lobster was not available.
The 'Catch of the Day' was pollock rather than haddock and the grilled catch was plaice.
There was a dish of mixed seafood but it was described as containing mussels prawns, squi9d and a rather vague 'white fish.'

Very disappointed. Dinner booked for 7.30, got dressed, travelled for half an hour to find a lot if not most of items on the menu not available. No mussels, no steak, pizza, chowder, oysters and lobster. If we turned up for late dinner I would understand but 7.30 should be just mid service. Luckily catch of the day was still available so we had that but wouldn't say it was particularly tasty. As a positive the staff were very attentive, and apologetic and its not their fault that the kitchen is not stocked up to even cover reservations.

We, the Mummy Mafia, a group of 6, 60+ mums who have known each other since the early 90's visited for a quick lunch last week and it was so delicious we booked for dinner that night. The lobster was outstanding; the surf and turf the most generous we've seen and the steak cooked to perfection. Only complaint is it's so far away from Surrey! An amazing place with friendly, helpful and attentive staff - a truly amazing find and will definitely return.

We had a fantastic meal here on the last night of our week long, very sunny camping stay in Cornwall. We hadn’t booked but popped in on the off chance at early tea time and staff were very accommodating and found us a table with some shade out the heat (we had our two young boys with us) Food was delicious and friendly service. A great spot for local fresh catches and watching the world go by (weather permitting!)

Having wanting to eat here for some time and booked well in advance it was really nice. I wasn't amazed tbh and changes that would have made my own experience better was I felt our starters were overcooked and the seafood linguine had small unpeeled prawns covered in sauce so had to unpeel them with knife and fork which took ages for such a small prawn it didn't make much sense to me. Apart from that, location is idyllic, decor is great and it was a lovely atmosphere. The menu sounds lovely which will see me return but I must learn to send food back if not satisfactory.
