Brailes is situated in a beautiful area of south Warwickshire close to the Oxfordshire border. The school serves the villages of Upper and Lower Brailes, as well as Winderton, Sutton under Brailes, Stourton, Cherington and Whichford. We are proud of our small school family community in which we value each child within a framework of traditional Christian values.
We aim to provide inspiring educational experiences whilst having high expectations for every child to help them achieve their potential. We would love to show you our lovely school in action - please contact us on 01608 685253 to arrange a visit. After 34 years at Brailes School, Robina Bennett will be finishing as Office Manager, so we are recruiting.

Services
I hope that it will give you a flavour of what Brailes Church of England Primary School is all about. These are exciting times for our school as we are in our 4th year of partnership with Shipston-on-Stour Primary School and Acorns Primary School in Long Compton with 4 classes in our growing school.
The school's Christian foundations and values encourage reflective and aspirational attitudes and attributes which guide all members of the school community to make positive choices and contributions so that all in the school community can live and learn in harmony. Values help people discover the very best of themselves and provide a moral compass for life in and out of school, now and into the future.
By working together we are able to strengthen our leadership team and build capacity, having an Associate Head at each school but overseen by an Executive Headteacher; save money by achieving economies of scale and, most importantly, raise standards for our children, who will benefit from shared expertise and specialist education provision and resources across all schools.
Brailes Church of England Primary School is part of the Stour Federation Partnership, with Shipston-on-Stour Primary School and Acorns Primary School in Long Compton. We are a Warwickshire County Council maintained school, which means that all admissions are organised through the Local Authority.

Parent/carers should know that the law (Children Act 2006) requires all school staff to pass on information which gives rise to a concern about a child's welfare, including risk from neglect, physical, emotional or sexual abuse. The staff will seek, in general, to discuss any concerns with the parent/carer, and where possible, seek their consent to a referral to Social Care.
