Services
We inspire children to reach their full potential as they journey through life; stimulating a thirst for knowledge, building confidence and resilience, and embracing Christian values. To provide a high quality, inclusive teaching and learning experience that enables children to achieve to the best of their ability.
Barby C of E School Governors work together on the Academy Governance Committee (AGC). This is the local aspect of PDET's Trust-wide governance scheme. The AGC operates as a committee of the Trust Board of Directors who have delegated to it a range of responsibilities according to the Trust's Scheme of Delegation.
We have close links with Barby Pre-School who, we are delighted to say, are now housed within our school building. Each year we share celebrations and events for the school and pre-school children to enjoy and participate in. In preparation for starting in Reception at Barby, we run a series of 'Rising 5's' session during the Summer Term.
Barby C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. From time to time we find that we have a vacancy for a member of staff to join our fantastic team. When this happens, the vacancy will be posted on the Teach in Northamptonshire website where you can download all application forms and associated paperwork.
At Barby C of E Primary School, we aim to teach an ambitious, high-quality and enriching curriculum that enables all children to reach their full potential. Our curriculum prepares our students with the knowledge and skills for their future life and learning.
Through living our Christian values, we ensure that our school is a place where we learn how to love God, one another and ourselves; developing our children to become citizens who contribute positively to society. Our curriculum provision is an important vehicle for the delivery of our whole school vision.

Its a lovely school and feels like a family however the head teacher trys to force religion on you but does run the school alright. Very nice memorys of this place.
ps. Your kids get forced to sing religous songs (christian) even though it is a village school and people living in the villiage go there for convenience not because they are religious.

If you want your child to not be bullied at a school, then this is not the school for you.
I was really bullied at this school. I was tied to a post on the outside playground, I bled a few times and I was emotionally bullied up until I went through depression. No 8 year old should go through depression. One of the main reasons the bullying went on was because the headteacher wouldn't do anything to stop it. My main teacher did lots of things to help me, but the head wouldn't do anything to help. I would always be scared when I had a class with her and I call her the living devil. The headteacher
