At Yelvertoft Primary School our whole school team are committed to providing the very best learning environment and opportunities for our children. We are all very proud to be part of this school. We see everyone as a learner and our aim is for all staff and children to grow and improve within a safe, secure and happy environment.
We are a traditional village school with children attending from Yelvertoft, Lilbourne, Clay Coton, Elkington and Stanford. A number of children also join us from the surrounding area. We value and respect all the members of our school community and very much see ourselves as part of the wider community.

Services
I have been a Headteacher for over ten years and have led three different schools before joining Yelvertoft. I have a passion for educating the whole child and really enjoy looking around our school and seeing all the happy, smiling faces from the children and the staff. I have taught across the whole primary age range from Reception to Year Six which places me in a very informed position.
Please let us know when you would like to tell us that you are happy with something we are doing. We are equally keen to know if there is anything else you would like to let us know about. You can contact us via the school office bursar@yelvertoft.northants.gov.uk or call to make an appointment. This provides the school and Ofsted with an up to date view of the school from the parents.
Our school's curriculum is meaningful and relevant to each child's needs and provides a broad range of experiences. At Yelvertoft Primary School we plan together a whole school creative curriculum which enables us to teach though a termly context, thereby ensuring the children's learning is based on key skills, knowledge and understanding and is relevant, interactive and applied.
Our role as School Leaders is to try and make our school a happier place to learn in. During the year, we will try to raise money to buy things the other children have said they would like us to buy for them. We will let you know what we will be fundraising for and what events we will be organising as soon as we have decided.
Pupils are highly positive about their experience of learning and participate keenly in all that the teachers have to offer them. Their attitudes to learning are outstanding. Behaviour around the school is outstanding because pupils show great care for one another; parents say it is like a big family.

At this school I learn many new things each day. There are many subjects that are taught to us like languages, mathematics, science and social studies. We also have interesting co-curricular activities that help us learn better. We also go on educative excursions.
There are a number of extra-curricular activities also that are offered to us. We are afforded opportunities to participate in various sports, music, dance, theatre and art events. These are fun activities that also help us develop our hobbies.
