We are a warm and welcoming, inclusive school at the heart of a vibrant community. We strive to provide inspirational learning and teaching so that every child can achieve their best. In partnership with our parents and the community, we aim to develop children who are passionate about learning and conduct themselves responsibly in the world.
Our ethos is one of inclusion where every member of the community is valued and can be successful. The school strives for a well-planned, vibrant and research based curriculum which builds rich schemas of knowledge and a passion for learning. We aim to teach greater breadth and depth to enrich learning and lay strong foundations for the development of future concepts.

Services
Our Nursery reflects the nurturing and supportive learning environment of our current Early Years provision where your child will grow and thrive. The nursery team consists of Mrs Gilkes (Nursery Lead), Mrs Abraham (Early Years Practitioner), Miss Essen (Early Years Practitioner), Mrs Tortora (Teaching Assistant) and Mrs Smith Manze (Teaching Assistant).
In Early Years, we cultivate a love of learning for life. Our curriculum is planned to provide balanced and relevant experiences for each individual child. We are passionate about outdoor learning and problem solving. It is important that our children feel safe to be risk takers as they approach their learning challenges.
We are also fortunate enough to be supported by our HLTA, Miss Heycock, who helps us with additional reading, writing and maths interventions. Year 1 have had a super first couple of weeks back at school. The children have settled in to their new classes really well and have enjoyed exploring their new classrooms.
In Year 2, the children develop their independent learning approaches within a supportive and considerate environment. The Year 2 team work closely together to create an exciting and connected curriculum that inspires children to embrace learning challenges. Our PE days are flexible so the days may change.
Welcome to Year 3! This year, the teachers are Mrs Redden and Miss Gillett (3 Hudson), Mrs G Douglas (3 Hockney) and Mrs Spina and Miss Stagg (3 Thomas). The teaching assistants in Year 3 are Mrs Hillery, Mrs Caine and Mrs Kowcun. Our year group HLTA is Mr Kennedy. Please find attached information for parents of children moving from Year 2 to Year 3. We look forward to welcoming everybody properly in September!
