At Vernon Terrace we aim to provide a happy and stimulating environment in which the academic, social, emotional and cultural needs of each individual child are met. Vernon Terrace Primary School is a primary school situated on the outer east side of Northampton.
We benefit from being near to Abington Park and city centre attractions such as theatre companies, cinemas and sports grounds all of which provide outdoor external enrichment opportunities. Our vision, alongside our mission statement, is to create successful, enthusiastic learners who are confident, critical thinkers.

Services
We place great importance on developing our pupils' 'character' through Character Education. We aim to develop our pupils' personal development and strengthen their character and resilience. Character Education brings to the forefront a developed, more meaningful way of exploring human characteristics and virtues and how these develop one's ability to engage positively within: socialisation situations and academic challenge.

My brother goes to this school, however the teachers and head teacher do not care about the kids educations all they care about is what they do outside of school which is nothing to do with them.
They also make the kids scared by threatening them with the police which makes him scared to go to school in the mornings and kids at his age should love to go school. It’s also very hard to change your son/ daughters school if they are in “special needs” if you complain the process will take so long as their words is always stronger than yours.
