Capers is unique in that we are the only local nursery to offer flexible bookings over an eight week period, making us ideal for parents that are students, shift workers and those that have flexible working hours. We also offer additional hours (when possible) on request. In other words, you don't pay for days you don't book, meaning you don't get charged for bank holidays etc when your child would usually be in nursery.

It is widely recognised the vital role that parents have in supporting their children's learning and development. Parents need to know what to expect in relation to their child's development through the different age bands of the EYFS. What to expect, when? is a simple guide which takes parents through the expectations of each age band in the EYFS and how they can support their children's learning and development.
For our long term Capers families, you will have shared in our disappointment when our previous inspection did not receive the desired outcome. However, since then, we have gone from strength to strength as a workforce, as managers and in how we run Capers as a whole. We have literally transformed our whole approach and it showed in our most recent inspection, gaining us the GOOD outcome we knew we deserved.
We accept 15 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds, 2 year funding (for those that qualify), plus 30 hours funding, childcare vouchers and Tax Free Childcare! This was offered by many employers but has since been replaced by the tax free childcare scheme. The voucher scheme allows the value of your childcare vouchers to be deducted from your salary before tax and national insurance, meaning you receive a reduction.
Excellent childcare is vital for you and your child and at Capers we lay down the foundations so when your child leaves nursery to go to school, they leave happy, educated, independent, confident and equipped for their next big step! Capers take great satisfaction in the knowledge that we have given hundreds of children the best possible start in life.
