I am already very impressed by the strength of the school team and their determination to ensure each child develops a passion for learning in a warm and nurturing environment.

Services
We would like to welcome you all to the new term! The partnership between the school and home is what enables our children to grow as learners and as people. With your continued support, our children will thrive and become confident and independent individuals with the love for learning and the aspiration to do well.
We have a busy and fun year ahead of us, with lots of learning as well as having a great time with our friends. If you have any questions about how your child is getting on or would like any support in helping your child, please do not hesitate to ask. Click the image above to access a site which will help you to recall your tables as quickly as you can.
We continue our exploration of World War Two looking at key figures in the war and important battles. Later in the term, we will be conducting a local area study, which will enable the children the opportunity to combine their daily walk with an exploration of the village. Whilst in our science work we will be exploring the outdoors further, with a look at animals and their habitats.
At Highley Community Primary School we recognise the contribution the school makes to safeguarding children. We believe that it is always unacceptable for a child or young person to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise that the safety and protection of all pupils is of paramount importance and that all staff, including volunteers, take responsibility and play a full and active part in protecting pupils from harm.
