Children are required to wear a blue Caroline Haslett t-shirt and black shorts/jogging bottoms. For the winter months, children may wear a plain black or blue sweatshirt or hoodie. Please ensure children wear suitable outdoor trainers and not plimsoles. Over the last two days, we have been holding our sports days.
On Thursday the 8th, years 1, 3 and 6 participated. The children had a wonderful time and we have posted a video of the day for everyone to view. Although it was a shame that parents were unable to attend, we were so pleased to see the children having such a good time. Well done to all of them for making both days great fun.

At Caroline Haslett Primary School, we intend to have a highly motivating and stimulating curriculum that encourages children to ask questions, be independent learners, collaborate and be aspirational. The curriculum is a way in which we make the learning meaningful for the children. We believe our children require us to provide more than just the content of the National Curriculum.
You may have heard announcements about the multiplication times tables checks that the government will be introducing in the near future. When it comes to times tables, speed and accuracy are important. The more facts your child remembers, the more they will be able to focus on new learning during their maths lessons rather than getting bogged down with working out facts before calculations can be completed.
The founding head teacher of Caroline Haslett, Mr Hussey, came into school for a special assembly to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Our Digital Leaders, under the guidance of Mrs Hart, also contributed with a presentation. On Wednesday 20th we held a whole school picnic to celebrate. We all enjoyed the games and picnic but the highlight of the day was definitely sliming Mr Quinton.
We are a big school with a small school ethos, reflecting the rich diversity of families in our area. At Caroline Haslett everyone is welcomed, children are happy, efforts are valued, ambition is nurtured and the potential of every child is realised. We believe that this vision statement is manifest in the following aims and values in our school.
