Thank you for showing an interest in our school. I am pleased to offer you this welcome as a brief guide to the work and aims of the school. I hope it will capture the atmosphere of our school which is open, friendly and purposeful.

Being a Church of England school, our Christian values and school family are very important to us. We follow four basic elements which together form an ecology of abundant life. They are educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills; hope and aspiration; community and living well together; and dignity and respect.
We use the Oxford Diocese's framework for Collective Worship alongside the Milton Keynes locally agreed RE syllabus. This framework ensures that we maintain a sense of regularity and familiarity for all of our pupils. It is also familiar to all those who lead our acts of worship, including representatives from our local churches.
The Governing body support the school leadership team in it's aim to continually improve the quality of teaching, leadership and management in order to raise pupil's academic standards, encourage good behaviour and create a safe working and learning environment.
By being involved in strategic planning and understanding the school's strengths and weaknesses we are able to challenge when appropriate, encourage where necessary and continually support the school in its drive for excellence.The Governing body are responsible for ensuring the management of financial resources are overseen and are used effectively.
