St Monica's Catholic Primary School
We have a number of places available in all year groups. Please phone 01908 606966 or email stmonicas@st-monicas.co.uk if you are looking for a place for your child between 3 and 11 years old. Welcome to our Catholic school community which is glad to serve the richly diverse community of Milton Keynes.

Our Mission Statement is 'Let Trust, Respect and Love live here' and we aim to live out our faith in that mission each day. We work in close partnership with our families, our Parish and the wider community to provide opportunities for our children to enjoy themselves and succeed. We are a friendly, caring school with high aspirations for all our pupils spiritually, academically, socially and in sport.
Services
Our school is part of a partnership of seven school in Milton Keynes called the 'ASPIRE Learning Partnership'. The partnership of schools will work together to deliver projects and develop services that will benefit pupils, parents and our local community. The partnership works together to give children a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities.
This is purely an online system and it is your responsibility to order and pay for your child's meals in time. If your child is entitled to 'Free School Meals' you will still need to order their meals. If you choose to do this yourself and you are entitled, you will receive a reference number that you bring into school to start receiving the benefits for your child.
While we make every effort to keep the school open, there may be occasions when it is not safe for pupils and staff to be at school, for example in extreme weather conditions or heating failure. A message will be broadcast on Three Counties and Heart Radio. If you have subscribed to the MK Council's text message alert (Strongly advised), you will receive a text from them.
Rainbow Club is managed and delivered by school staff who work in the school throughout the day. All staff are fully trained in a range of areas including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene and school policies. At St Monica's, Rainbow Club opens from 7:30am and a nutritious meal will be served between 7.45am and 8:20am.
Our school is part of the Parish of St Augustine's, Heelands which is part of the Diocese of Northampton. Setting aside time to pray and worship is central to the religious life of the school. We are constantly striving to offer liturgical and Sacramental experiences that are creative, meaningful, active and varied.

Both of my daughters went to St Monica from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The academics are solid, there is a good support system in place and the parent community contributes time and treasure to continuously improve SMS. STRONGLY RECOMMEND

We have been at St. Monica School for over 7 years (two boys now in 6th and 2nd grade) and absolutely love it!!! To us, the church and school communities have become like family. I am amazed at the things the kids learn and how advanced they are compared to kids from other schools. I am even more amazed about how I see the kids interact with people from outside our community (politeness and respect). Because of all the programs and how the school functions, your kids will not just be book smart, they will be world smart (public speaking, community service, morals, arts, sports and of course better

We've been at St.Monica for 3 years and our son loves this school. The homework at times is a lot, but in the end our son has excelled. The teachers, staff, leadership and school community has been great for us. We look forward to middle school this school year.

No school is perfect, but this one comes close. Mr. Riley, the principal, truly cares about each student. The teachers, are caring and want the kids to succeed. Is it a perfect school? No, and I doubt one exists.
The parents are highly involved in the school and most of the "extra" events and perks are because of the dedication of the PTO and Dad's club.
We have been very blessed to be able to put our daughter through St. Monica from K - 8th grade. Not only is she getting a great education, but they teach character and the Catholic faith. Even if we weren't Catholic, I would still send her there

Some teachers are inexperienced in teaching kids with certain disabilities. Kids are rude and judgmental.
