These superb, well appointed cottages are located in the village of Ruswarp on the edge of the brooding North Yorkshire Moors, just outside Whitby. All facilities are very close by. Ruswarp offers a village shop, an excellent traditional butchers and a wonderful local pub providing all of your day to day needs.
Boating takes place on the River Esk alongside a miniature steam railway. There is also an indoor play-barn with additional outside activities and cafe, all within walking distance. Whitby is only a five minute car drive away. You can walk cross country to reach the town within 25 minutes, or take one of the regular trains or buses.

During 2013 Emma and family have moved across the road, and therefore she has prepared No 1 Croft Farm for guests who would like a short stay (bed only, no breakfast) for one or more nights. The accommodation provides two double rooms, with an extra futon that can be pulled out, this allows for bookings from one to four people.
It comprises of a front door entrance leading to an open plan lounge complete with a dining area and galley style kitchen. The whole of the living area has a high quality oak wood flooring and includes a large TV with Freesat and an open gas fire. Upstairs to the first floor are one double and one twin bedded room, with a further door to the outside.
Whitby is a five minute car drive away, or you can walk across country within 25 minutes. There's so much to see and do! Whitby is the home of Captain Cook, with an excellent museum to see. The ancient Abbey stairs tumble down into Church Street where the many unique shops will fascinate you and leave you wanting more.
