Welcome to St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School, we are 2-form entry school located in the Deanery of Redbridge within the Diocese of Brentwood. As a Catholic School, Christ is at the centre of all that we do. We have a clear Mission Statement which impacts on staff and children's attitudes, behaviours and the respect which we show to one another.

Parents and Governors work collaboratively with the school in delivering an engaging, fun and safe provision for our pupils. I hope, by exploring our website, you will gain some insight into life in St. Augustine's. Our school website, mobile app and podcasts are created using School Jotter, a Webanywhere product.
Services
There are choices for the children to choose from each day including a vegetarian option. All meals are cooked on the premises. School lunch for children in Year 3 to Year 6 cost 2. Please send your child with the correct money each MONDAY in an envelope marked with their name and class. Cheques should be made payable to London Borough of Redbridge.
The curriculum should reflect many elements of that part of his life, which a child lives outside school. Bullock Report (1975). The children at St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School come from a range of backgrounds. As a multi cultural school it is vital that we prepare children to grow up making a positive contribution to society.
Originally what is now our school hall was then the Church, and its sanctuary was where the stage is now. There were 5 classrooms to take two hundred and fifty pupils, although only fifty five pupils registered on that first day. Toilets were in a separate unheated building alongside the school that usually froze up in the winter that occasionally led to the closure of the school.
On behalf of the Board of Governors I would like to welcome you to St Augustine's Catholic Primary School. We are very proud of our school and work closely with the Head teacher and staff to ensure that the learning environment of the school is suitable, appropriate and supportive for all of the children attending.
Please watch this space as we have a variety of new clubs starting throughout the year, ie Computing, Film Club etc. We offer our year 6 weekly revision classes to help with SATs starting in March each year. The School Council is a pupil committee, which is elected on an annual basis in September. They meet at least twice every half-term.
