The playground is supervised from 8.40 am and the children are able to go into their classes to meet their teacher from this time. For safety and space reasons, the school car park cannot be used by parents to drop off or pick up children. Parking is also not permitted in Vane Close, where yellow lines are in operation morning and afternoon.
Harrison Catering provide schools lunches from our on-site kitchen. All lunches (free or paid) must be pre ordered via the Pupil Asset App, guidelines are attached. Children in the Foundation Stage (Year R) and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) are entitled to have a free lunch - this is called 'Universal Free School Meals'.
Navy trousers (any style as long as they are plain navy, including joggers) or navy skirt with green or navy tights or socks. NB Girls are strongly encouraged to wear trousers, which are more practical for our active curriculum. Round-neck jade cotton t-shirt with school logo (these may be worn in the winter if children find them more comfortable than polo shirts).
We believe that it is vital for school and family to work as closely together as possible to make sure that our children get the very best out of school. As well as our 'Knowledge Organisers', each child has a Contact Book in which parents and teachers can communicate about any little issues. These are read every day.
