I am proud to be the Head teacher of a school where every child is valued and every member of staff has high expectations of themselves and the potential of our children.

One which will support, challenge and enable them to fulfil their potential, equipping them with the skills they will need both academically and socially. Services
We offer opportunities for prayer and reflection, allowing God's presence to be felt in an environment that is grounded in faith, celebrating the uniqueness of every member of our school community. We create a positive learning culture with our catholic values at the centre, which challenges our children to be independent, confident learners.
We provide a broad curriculum and inspiring teaching with creative and academic opportunities. We encourage all members of our school community to aim as high as they can and provide support to encourage risk taking, independence and resilience. We promote respect and dignity for ourselves, for our Catholic faith and for others and celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
St John Fisher is a Catholic School under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Liverpool. It is maintained by Knowsley Council. As a Voluntary Aided School, the Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions. The co-ordination of admissions arrangements is undertaken by the Local Authority.
In Early Years, we use the non-statutory Development Matters as a guidance material to support the implementation of the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage Profile. We ensure that we provide access to a rich learning environment where opportunities and conditions allow children to flourish in all aspects of their development.
The Nursery team comprises of Mrs Glenister, class teacher and Mr Harrison and Mr Wilton who are classroom TAs. St John Fisher is 30 FTE (Full time equivalent) place nursery for 3 and 4 year olds. We offer either 15 hour or 30 hour provision if you are entitled. We will apply our over-subscription criteria if necessary which can be found on our website.
