Service from one waitress was appalling. Uninterested, rude, and incapable of the slightest of smiles. Starters we found bland, mains decent enough. Given service will not be returning.

We went here on Friday night for a meal and will never be back
our waitress was absolutely vile such a disgusting women her attitude was horrible blonde hair and a white top
After we were seated and got out drinks she was over and very rudely saying we only booked for two people it was three we booked for I had the email confirmation
she was snide correcting us as we spoke,
she said they didn't do scallops and white wine sauce until we pointed it out on the menu
we wanted the chateaubriand to be abruptly told no we don't do that it needs marinated and he's not got time needs 24 hour notice

Had a meal with my partner. We had mushrooms and calamari to start, the calamari was chewy and the tartare sauce that came with it tasted straight from a jar, the mushrooms were fine but served with bread that would get you a slap in the face in Italy.
Onto the mains we had pizzas. The pizza were overall OK, delicious sauce and lovely toppings but the base was burnt in spots and was extremely chewy in other spots, how they managed this boggles my mind.
Didn’t stay for dessert because the wait staff were really disorganised and acted like they did not want us to be there. For the record there

Average food, rude waitress. The new premises were lovely. We had enormous starters of calamari which was chewy and haggis which was cold. The mains were very nice, I had spaghetti and my husband had lasagne. Our experience was ruined by the rude waitress who's manner should not be anywhere near the hospitality industry.

Welcoming and friendly with an extensive menu. So much to choose from and the portions were very generous. I had the carpaccio and veal t-bone and they were outstanding. My husband had the chicken wings and seafood stew which was filled with monkfish, mussels, squid, prawns and class. Lovely cocktails as well. It is pricey for Livingston but most definitely worth it!

We had a ok evening food was good, but nearing 10pm when we noticed it was getting quiet we asked if it was closing time to be told by a waitress "well yes some of us have worked a double shift you know, and we want to get home" in a snappy tone, leaving us all feeling uncomfortable and awkward!
Then to have my friend who booked the table spoken to snappy again from the same woman, because people who were ment to come along with us pulled out at the last minute.
Our bill was £86 and my friend told her 3 times that the payment Machine was saying £102 she snapped just put your pin in, then blamed

We thought we would come down and check out the place as it's new and round the corner from the house. When we arrived we were abruptly told they were fully booked. We explained we were only arriving for some drinks if possible and was allowed to sit at one of the tables. The cocktails we had were nice but we chased for a second round and was then given the bill swiftly after the second even though we didn't ask for it... I was a bit shocked and if they had said we would have went elsewhere and not bothered for drinks.
As I said this was only our experience getting drinks - I will not be trying

Lovely decor, and cocktails are equally as nice. Customer service from a majority (not all) of the staff is below standards, though. Let’s the restaurant down.

We ordered takeaway and received it sooner than Scoffable advised. I sorted our food out and quickly realised one of our main dishes was missing a side. I dished up our starters and put the mains in the oven to keep warm. As I finished the last forkful of food from my starter there was a knock at the door, it was our missing side for one of our mains - perfect timing - with a complimentary bottle of wine from the chef for the confusion. The food was absolutely fantastic, every dish was perfect. Mistakes happen and with service like that it is very easily forgiven. Will definitely order again soon
