Services
We have all our ingredients freshly prepared by our award winning chef who has over 30 years experience in indian cooking and has created many new dishes, for example Chicken Munchirian which is a medium Chicken dish cooked with fresh herbs and nuts and recommended with Paratha, Punjabi Style. Our starters are unique, and are not only served with salad and yoghurt, but are cooked in a special sauce and served with chapati.

First Christmas Day meal at Queens Spice. Warmest of welcomes from the owner and his staff. Excellent, knowledgeable table service delivering delicious food. For me, the most pleasant surprise was that the menu was printed, black on white, in large print. I have an eyesight problem and normally have to ask someone else to read the menu. Well done Queens Spice for making it easy for me.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy New Year.

Just been in restaurant this evening and I had the most delicious patia. This is my second review and I cant state highly of what I think of the dish I recieved. I have always picked lamb patia in most restaurants I have been to and they have all differed in taste and this i think was up among the highest dishes i have tasted.
The restaurant was quiet with a lot of deliveries and we noticed we were the only ones sitting in.
It was a Tuesday though and raining so maybe most just wanted to stay in. People who have not tryed the restaurant should give it a try. It won't dissappiont.

The service was appalling. The food was soo bland and tasteless. The pappadums were so soft and stale. Food portions were too small. 7 grilled prawns for £21 ?
The manager / owner was rude and telling us to keep our toddler away from walking around not realising it’s not in our control. The waiters kept staring at us all time through felt like we were under surveillance . For £85 for 2 adults and 2 kids and a toddler is just overly priced. Being an indian the food was not cooked well with spices it was too bland and disappointing, portions were tiny. You can improve your customer service and

As far as I know this is the only Indian restaurant/takeaway I know of in South Queensferry but it does its job so well I doubt there is need for another.
Queens Spice offers a wide range of dishes with seemingly fresh ingredients. Sitting in, you are surrounded by a really hospitable, welcoming atmosphere and the staff are really helpful. The great bonus for me here is the wide selection of vegetarian starters and main meals. I would recommend the sag aloo, a potato and spinach dish, heavily flavoured with coriander and mustard seeds. Also expect to find your usual Indian curries here. Prices

Really, really very good.
I live nearly 8 miles away but this is my Indian Restaurant of choice, even if it's just for a takeaway. It's easily good enough to justify nearly 16 miles of driving.
As the previous reviewer has said, it can be VERY busy & I've been left waiting for my takeaway at a cold and draughty doorway at the busiest times. Despite this, I really didn't mind as I'm always happy with the overall experience and in particular the food.
Again, as the previous reviewer said, the staff and manager are all very friendly and attentive.

For a lonely foreign boy needing a good cry, the vindaloo had me bawling like a baby.
It's been 10 years (1998) since I've been back, but it was a reliable go-to throughout that rainy, gray summer.
It also gave me a little cachet when passing judgment on the subcontinental food out west. I mean, who's gonna go to South Queensferry, Scotland to challenge my credibility? Nobody, that's who.
