Services
Established in 2006 by husband and wife Craig and Vikki Wood, our ethos is to serve simple good food and wine in a truly relaxed atmosphere. Craig's career has seen him work in some of the country's most respected kitchens including Restaurant Martin Wishart, the Royal Scotsman train and the Crinan Hotel.
Our menu is not always readily adaptable for allergies, intolerance or dietary preferences but we can advise you which parts of the menu may be suitable for you. It is very helpful for the Wee Restaurant staff to know of any allergies or intolerances prior to dining. Please add any food allergies/intolerances into your booking notes.
As many of you know we are a family run restaurant with three children of our own. Growing up in the food industry they have all become firm foodies. From a young age they've enjoyed trying new foods whether from us popping food from our local suppliers into their mouths when visiting us at work or when we dine out as a family.

A medium restaurant with a lot of potential to become one of the bests. Please note this is only constructive critic at all times.
Yesterday was our anniversary and went to have dinner. We saw plenty of good reviews and the restaurant looked romantic and perfect for the occasion. Moreover, the pictures of the dishes at the website looked amazing. We also like to help family businesses like this one as they usually have something special to offer.
It is a small place, but very beautifully decorated in a very nice environment. Tonight was particularly noisy but that was not at all their fault.

Wow, wow, wow what can I say except wow! Delicious meal could not fault one little bit. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before and was very impressed but tonight I'm blown away! My partner and I have already booked a table for a night in a month when we were leaving ❤️

Seasonal food cooked to perfection. Michelin recommended and extremely good value, seriously a whole lobster as shown in the pic was £28, Scottish and locally caught. I love this restaurant. The ambiance of a small restaurant like this serving the type of food that always makes you share bites of each other’s is something special. One of those hidden gems that is a secret.

Great location by the bridge, nicely cooked simple dish. The food was cooked to perfection. However, don't expect sophisticated food with creative ingredients or fine dining quality presentation. The only thing we didn't like was the fries with truffle oil because there wasn't an essence of truffle.
