Their trick is managing to keep a lot of the flavour with normally gets driven off as it is volatile with the alcohol in the process. Room with a view restaurant was outstanding. Food was top class fine dining standard and the service was so welcoming and efficiently served. The ambiance with the small sized dining room made it a special occasion. The complimentary transport was particularly welcomed as the location is a bit off the beaten track. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to eat . Service was exceptional, we arrived at the wrong train station and the owner came to collect us . We ate outdoors in the pod as had dog, listening to the waves as we ate our seafood and… the added lighting and scenery when the sun went down . The extra taster before and after dinner was great . Definitely will return

We were recommended "A Room with a View" in Aberdour by our lovely hosts at Cardinal's Folly. Lots of lovely seafood to choose from and I struggled to make a choice. We were required to make our food choices the day before. Eventually I decided on scallops to start, followed by seared tuna and a blackberry parfait to finish. My vegetarian husband started with goat's cheese and beetroot, followed by mushroom linguine and the cheese platter to follow. My brother selected the steak ciabata with chips and the caramel mille-feuille with apple sorbet.
If choosing the seared tuna I would suggest stating

Myself & my friend went for an evening meal here, the seafood was amazing! All the food was so delicious, the presentation was excellent & the views were spectacular! The service was excellent! We got picked up at the station by this lovely woman who brought us both to hotel. I couldn't believe how spectacular the views were...it was so peaceful & their were some people climbing the cliffs, which was nice to see. There were pods outside, which you could keep open or close, such a peaceful setting. Overall we'll definitely be coming here again & highly recommend this place to anyone as we also got

Amazing dinner and service. The sample starter for 2 was fantastic, and there we no faults with any other course. If you bottle the chutney served with the cheese course I would buy so much! We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. Our first visit but certainly not our last.

Had a wonderful evening here, loved experiencing the pods out on the garden! We normally book a meal here for a special occasion and it was lovely as the last time. Fortunately we had a warm summer evening so were treated to a sunset across the Forth. Dinner was excellent, with nice touches between courses. The team did a great job of making us feel welcome and safe.

This was our first meal out in over a year and we chose wisely. The setting is stunning first off. Inside the pods it is protected from the elements or can be opened up to suit. My daughter wanted to take her friend so we booked in advance. The food was amazing, best fish I have ever tasted cooked to perfection and not a bone found in all three. The batter was a meal on its own, crispy on the outside just how you'd like it. The chips I wasn't sure about at first as I like the big fat ones. These came skinny but were well seasoned and full of flavour. O the starter yes, aubergine and goats cheese
