We booked a Sunday evening meal for two for our 1st Anniversary. The restaurant has been redesigned since we were there last and the first impression is one of bright clean and friendly. The food was superb and the social distancing etc were first class. Delighted to see that La Gondola still has what it takes. *****

Was staying the night in Glenrothes prior to a cycle event and decided to take the bus down to Kirkcaldy for the evening for a stroll along the esplanade and some fresh air. I wanted to have some pasta so checked Google and found La Gondola. I phoned up and asked if they had any tables and they told me to come along and they would have one ready. Sure enough, despite the restaurant being just about full, they had a table for me. I had the tagliatelle alla casa and then lava cake with cream for dessert washed down with a large glass of house red. It was all delicious and the staff were both friendly
