Services
In BirchesPrimary School we aim to provide a welcoming, attractive and stimulating environment which supports pupils' learning and which celebrates their academic and non-academic achievements. We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which develops the skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for future learning and living.
The children and staff were very proud when we won the most prestigious award for Eco schools last year. We were awarded the Green Flag by Tidy Northern Ireland. We are continuing our hard work in school to ensure that we are a sustainable school and continue to make efforts to improve our local and global environment.
We hope you find the information on our Internet Safety page interesting, informative and helpful. We are now living in a digital world which is so different to the world we grew up in. It is hard not to be worried or concerned when letting your child use devises which connect to the internet. This is why we have included some information regarding E-Safety for yourselves as parents and for the children.
Don't post any personal information online - like your address, email address or mobile number. Think carefully before posting pictures or videos of yourself. Once you've put a picture of yourself online most people can see it and may be able to download it, it's not just yours anymore. Respect other people's views, even if you don't agree with someone else's views doesn't mean you need to be rude.
