Poplars is a large privately owned, independent and unique childcare nursery and has been meeting the needs of families living and/or working in the Swindon area since 1995. In our 3 acres of land we have a large enclosed woodland with a playhouse, a huge paddock area with a willow structure, adventure trail, cycle track, basketball net and trampoline.
We also have an outdoor classroom and vegetable and flower gardens. We provide children with a safe, secure, happy, healthy and stimulating environment, within which children are encouraged to develop their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative skills. We provide a well balanced menu for the children using freshly prepared meat and vegetables, and offer a vegetarian alternative for those children who require it.

Poplars is open 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday (closed on bank holidays). We are able to do a variety of sessions; Full day, Morning - 7:30am - 1:00pm, Afternoon - 1:00pm - 6:30pm and School day - 8:30am - 3:30pm. We also do a pick-up service from some of the local schools and run an excellent action packed holiday club during the school holidays.
We have a hairdresser that comes into the nursery every 4-6 weeks. We understand how difficult it is to find the time to take your children to get their hair cut, so let us lighten the load. Our hairdresser has been with us for a number of years, so is a friendly face for the children. It is also nice for the children to have it done in an environment that they are comfortable in.

These guys have been amazing with my little boy. After researching lots of nurseries in the area we stumbled on Poplars and I'm really glad. Both mum and baby found the first few days challenging but the staff were brilliant at helping him to settle whilst keeping us in the loop. Now a few weeks in and he gets upset at coming home instead!
All the staff have been great and we look forward to continuing to use the nursery as our son grows.
