Playsteps is an independent nursery which opened in 2006 and offers full and part time care for children from birth to five in a lovely setting, within walking distance of Swindon Town centre. Our attractive listed building used to be the vicarage for St Marks Church and, having been converted and specifically adapted for nursery use, it now provides a secure, light and happy environment for children and staff.
We aim to be a "home from home" for your children and across the nursery we have a very settled and established staff team able to build long term positive relationships with the children and their families.

Services
Decorated, furnished and equipped to meet the motivation and development requirements of the age group they house, each room provides a self-contained fun and enriching experience as children enjoy their journey through the nursery. Aiming to provide a cosy but stimulating environment, the main room combines a soft carpeted area as well as an area for high chairs and messy play.

As our last child Laiken departs from Playsteps tomorrow it will be sad to say goodbye. Both our children attended this warm and friendly nursery. It paved the way for them and got them ready for school life. Playsteps is by far a wonderful place and we are honoured to have had the opportunity for our children and us as parents to relish and enjoy their services. Many many thanks 🙏

I couldn't have wished for a better nursery for my boys! My oldest started in Jan 2014, I was very impressed with the security of the nursery and knew my children were in safe hands from the minute I left my first little man there. Today my youngest has left, for over a year we've been driving 20 miles each way to bring him here 2 days a week… because when we moved I just couldn't face moving him from there..I hope that in itself speaks for how amazing this lovely little nursery is! The staff in all the rooms are so lovely too, Jo is THE perfect manager for this setting and has been so lovely

My little girl went to Playsteps Nursery for 3.5 years and gave her the best start ever. I can never thank Jo Morris, Chris, Helen Carson Starr and all the amazing staff at this nursery for everything they did. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We loved this nursery and Sophie still goes back to visit.
