Services
At St. George's, our Mission Statement makes it absolutely clear that the whole ethos of the school and all aspects of the school will reflect the practice and traditions of our Catholic faith. Such teachings direct us to believe that we are all "Children of God" and that we live by following the example of Jesus giving to us in the Gospels.
I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year and we pray that 2021 brings health and happiness to all families in our community. I am sure you are aware of the current speculation in the news about primary schools reopening next week. We all want schools to be open safely as soon as possible.
However, teaching unions are concerned about the current rate of transmission and that the new variant might be more prevalent amongst younger people than the previous variants.Governors and senior managers want to guarantee safety for our children, their parents, our staff and their families. If you are a Key Worker parent and sent your child to school during the first lock down, you are already registered with us and have Key Worker status.

Nursery and Reception parents, you have your individual times and days for your children's return, week beginning 14 th September. During this unusual period of enforced lockdown, our children will have missed their school friends, teachers and the daily routine that our school offers. We have certainly missed all of our fantastic children.
Primary School it is our aim to raise standards by promoting a school ethos which is underpinned by core values.
