We all take a genuine interest in every member of our community and live out our vision through all we do. During the course of the inspection, I visited every classroom in the school and had further discussions with some teachers. As a result, I was able to experience the strong commitment across the whole school to setting high expectations for pupils and working to support them to meet, and sometimes exceed, those expectations.

Staff and pupils take learning seriously and, consequently, pupils make good progress. The inspector stated, "The impact of the school's vision is seen particularly strongly in the strength of relationships, as every person shares the responsibility of contributing to a community working in harmony."

I am exceptionally proud to lead this unique, welcoming and happy school. We are blessed to have created and nurtured a very special, supportive and close community, where all members of the school community are valued: children, parents, staff and governors. Our vision guides all of our work and it speaks of the unique nurture, care and focus on developing all aspects of each person in our community.
As a Governing Board we are a strong team with a range of business and educational experience. We work alongside the school's senior leadership team to create and deliver clear, ambitious vision and strategy for school improvement.

We ensure that the legal obligations of the school are fulfilled and we provide accountability and oversight; making sure that money is well spent and that each member of the learning community achieves their potential. There is a total of 14 seats on the Governing board: 8 foundation governors, 2 parent governors, 1 staff governor, 1 LA governor, 1 Co-opted governor and the Headteacher.
Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.
Our vision applies to all of our school community. In our vision, it outlines that we are a community of life-long learners. This recognises that our staff continue to develop. One way in which this vision is brought to life is through the school's approach to research in practice.
