Services
Margaret is the Manager and has overall responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of the children and staff at Penny Pot and is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the nursery and maintaining high standards. Amy holds a level 3 childcare qualification and has completed a leadership and management apprentiship.
Using a picture/name card, to show us they are here when we welcome them at the beginning of the session. Participating in key person led small group focused activities. This could be learning any thing that will be fatured on the weekly planning that is created using the childrens next steps in development combind in the things they are interested in and love to do the most.
We make sure that this time, and all the rest of their time in Nursery, is positive, safe and welcoming. The team at Penny Pot strive to build possitive, secure relationships with both parents and the children to make the process for everyone as possitive and as comfortable as possible.
Offer "settling in" sessions for children and their families to come along to before they start nursery to enable them to meet the staff and other children, while familiarising themselves with their new environment.The sessions consist of three hour long visits, two of which parents are present and one hour drop off visit.

All our food is freshly prepared and nutritionally balanced and is ALL VEGETARIAN and DAIRY FREE. No salt, sugar or artificial flavourings are added to our food. Our choice of snacks along with the planned menus ensures all children are provided with their 5 a day. The menu will enable and encourage children to experience a diverse range of tastes, textures and flavours.
Our baby room is a bright, spacious, homely, warm environment and is situated at the far end of the nursery. There is a well-equipped changing/potty training room. The large playroom is light and airy, and fitted with low level shelving, where babies can learn to stand and toddlers are able to choose which toy they would like to explore.
