In Clare it is our specific aim to welcome all children into a learning environment where they will feel valued, happy and safe. Where the pupils will gain knowledge, develop their interests, talents and abilities which will hopefully allow them to reach their full potential and become the citizens of tomorrow.

Black outdoor shoes (non marking sole) are compulsory, no black trainers with full school uniform (trainers are only allowed on PE days). Velcro-fastened shoes are compulsory for P1-3. All items of clothing and footwear must be clearly labelled with your child's name. They should be made aware of where to look for their name to increase independence in finding their own clothing.

Children are encouraged to have a small snack at break time and we are keen to promote Healthy Breaks which are compulsory Monday to Thursday. Mrs Kelly our School Cook provides a range of healthy break options each day from which children choose a snack for their break. Healthy break options include a selection of fruit day such as melon, orange, kiwi, apple.

It is vital that all users are aware of the risks associated with the use of Internet technologies, this can often be a bewildering area for Parents/Guardians who may feel 'out of touch' or 'lost' in these areas.
