To encourage each child to realize his/her full potential through active involvement in their own learning, valuing the varied experiences that each child brings to school. To develop the whole child - socially, emotionally and physically as well as academically.

Our goal is simple; it is to ensure that all children reach their full potential and develop their areas of interest and talent. To provide all children with a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes and celebrates our differences. To create and maintain an environment where children and adults are able to learn, feel safe and cared for.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare, both physical and emotional, of every pupil both inside and outside of the school premises. We implement a whole-school preventative approach to managing safeguarding concerns, ensuring that the well-being of pupils is at the forefront of all action taken.

All Greenwich maintained schools have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school.

All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils with Special Educational Need(s) being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.In her role, she meets with class teachers and teaching assistants to ensure all children are provided with appropriate support according to their need.

We created Maritime around an idea - that education should be meaningful, that children should love learning, and that everyone who works with us should feel they make an impact. We believe in preparing children for a future we can't even imagine yet - through the life skills in our entrepreneurial curriculum.
