Held in our car park again to give everyone enough space - a wonderful rainbow celebration. It was perfect. The swans were super at Gruffalo story telling, magic tricks, counting in Spanish, group dance mega moves, footballs skills and singing. The children had to shield themselves from the water spraying (fire breathing) dragon that was Miss Sarah!
The children were very excited to move up from the Bear group into our pre-school group "The Swan group". Lots of exciting new games, targets and challenges. The big bears have made a smooth transition from the cub group and are excited to be wearing their blue uniform. In September when some new bears started Tidbury they at first joined the smaller cub group.

Louise and I opened Tidbury 35 years ago. it was an exciting challenge. We quickly built links within the community; with St John's Church and the local schools. I love working with Louise and our committed team, it's what makes Tidbury really special. We support the children through their first milestones in life and I love to see them blossom and grow.
As parents ourselves, we recognise the importance of providing high quality, affordable childcare for the local community. We feel passionate about our role and expect high standards from each and every one of our team. The leadership team is inspirational and demonstrates an extremely high level of commitment to raising standards and offering children the very best start in their learning.
Children's safety and well-being are of utmost importance and are monitored rigorously through risk assessments. Children thrive in this highly challenging, stimulating environment. Activities are of exceptionally high quality and provide outstanding learning opportunities for all children. Settling in new children takes time and expertise.
Our two garden areas offer a wealth of opportunities for children to develop through exploration and play. The front garden is a large area where children can enjoy physical play and "let off steam". It offers areas to climb, build, read books, sand and water play and a chance to be a superstar on the X Factor Stage!
Our daily curriculum is planned for each of the groups of children to support targets both for the group and for each child's individual needs. Our aim is to help all children attending the nursery to achieve their maximum potential. At Tidbury the team are very aware of the importance of structured but "child-led" play and we put a strong emphasis on "Learning in the Outdoor Environment".
