Little Cherubs

As part of our philosophy of family friendly childcare, we are very excited about this system which is rarely found in day nurseries. This is a CCTV and SECURE Webcam facility which allows parents to view live images of their children in the nursery during the day over the internet.

You can "drop in" at any time, helping to reassure you by letting you see for yourself how happy your child is at Little Cherubs, and giving you the opportunity to be more involved in your child's daily activities.Nursery Cam is video only, so no sound is heard. It is designed to allow parents to see their children from anywhere, be it at work, at home or on a business trip overseas.

Little Cherubs work to a high ratio of staff to children to ensure your child has the best level of care. Shamim Hussain comes from a background of Social Work and is a qualified nursery practitioner. Shamim has a firm vision of what makes a good nursery and combines flexibility for the parents and support for the staff with a fun, caring and high quality experience for all the children.

Leaving your child at nursery for the first time can be difficult for parents so our caring and dedicated baby room staff will help you every step of the way. Each baby has a nominated Key Carer who will build a special relationship with you and your child. They will keep you abreast with your child's progress on a daily basis through daily diaries and ongoing progress reports.

We offer a more structured day for this age group with activities to stimulate their expanding minds, including imaginative play, creative activities and outdoor play. Early numeracy and writing is learnt through playing and music. At this point your child's confidence and social skills are increasing and we support them in this whenever we can.

The Pre-School room is where we do small group activities, for example listening games, introduce telling the time, communication, language and literacy, problem solving, reasoning and numeracy. A qualified Early Years teacher oversees all our curriculum planning and assessment. Daily diaries are kept for each child which keeps you up to date on their learning and development as well as their nutritional intake and wellbeing.
