If you like Malaysian food, this is the place to go. Very reasonably priced, it's a small restaurant, but quite posh, in its own unique way. Food is very good, & the service is also good.

This place has lost its atmosphere. You can go in there during a weekday evening to find yourself the only one in there. I believe since the smoking ban it's not that pleasant to stand in a draughty back alleyway corridor to have a smoke. It will probably suffer like most bars without good provisions for smokers. It's a real shame as it's a huge and much looked over Hove attraction.

Surreal timewarp into 70's flashiness - the fixtures & fittings are all looking a bit tired. However this is good in a David Lynch kitch sort of way. I think of it more as an emergency bar that's open late and we can get somewhere to sit - just bear in mind that the bar is complete with mirrorball design effects, fringed palms and bamboo chairs with fading upholstery - the characters from 70's TV Loveboat would be well at home here.

We went here with a huge group of friends on a Saturday night and had an excellent time. I'd never eaten Malaysian cuisine before and wasn't sure whether I'd like it but I thought it was a great combination of flavours.

The staff were really helpful and not moody at all with 15 drunken people changing places every 30 minutes. The drinks came out really promptly and as we were such a large group, we went for the all you can eat option for £16.95. There was absolutely tons to choose from and everyone really enjoyed the food.

Lovely decor and brilliant location if your heading into

The Bali Brasserie can be found on the seafront on the Brighton and Hove border so walking distance fro the beach and town centre. Its a surprisingly large and luxurious venue. The 'tropical bar' (reportedly the longest in Brighton at 45 feet!) is covered in tiny emerald colour tiles and room has alot of lil plants and bamboo decor.

The dining area is huge serving Indonesian and Malaysian delicacies, with drapes on the walls and traditional art work around the place. It would be a great place to hold an event because of the size and unique decor but can be quiet on weekday evenings
