Adelfia translated into English means brothers, and here you will find two brothers dream of opening a restaurant to give the people of England a taste of their fathers authentic Greek cooking which they grew up eating, and fell in love with.
The journey started back when Yiannis and Andreas were only 14 and 15 years old, working front of house and in the kitchen of their fathers restaurant, learning all about traditional Greek cooking, wines and culture. In 2016 with the help of all the family and their amazing team, the dream came alive and they graciously invite you to come and try a true Greek experience at their family-run restaurant in Brighton.

Wow! My friend celebrated her 50th birthday there a couple of weekends ago. There was 15 of us and they practically gave us our own dining section with a long table on one side of the restaurant. The food was superb from the sharing platters for starters to the mains to the dessert. The staff were super friendly, accommodating, a good laugh and super efficient considering there was so many of us to tend to. Nothing was too much trouble and they added to our special memory of the start of 50th birthday shenanigans for our friend. Prices were unbelievable good value too! Defo will re-visit

This is the second time we’ve eaten at Adelfia and it’s officially now become our new favourite family restaurant. Every single thing is delicious and super fresh. We ordered the feta salad, amazing crispy… courgettes which I’ve no idea how they make them so delicious, but even my son who doesn’t like courgettes ate loads of them. Some of the best honest freshly cooked food I’ve had in Brighton and the service is so friendly and warm. The staff make you feel so welcome from the moment you arrive. Absolutely lovely!

Best Greek food we’ve had in the UK!! The octopus, deep fried baby squid, grilled chicken salad, chicken skewers and semolina cake were absolutely delicious. Had too much food for my own good but so worth it! Would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Mediterranean food in Brighton
