The children, parents, staff and governors of St. Mary's are very proud of our school. St. Mary's is a warm, welcoming community where everyone genuinely does matter. All of our children are treated as individuals and are supported by committed, passionate staff who aim to nurture a life long love of learning and enable all children to achieve their true potential.

If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office or email schiswell@stmarysprimary.org.uk. What an amazing way to start our 50th anniversary celebrations! A mass led by @RCNorthampton Bishop David. Such a special day. Our children were a credit to our school and their families and engaged with his sermon beautifully.
Services
The headteacher engages well with parents, and has developed a good partnership with the local community. St. Mary's Catholic Primary School caters for children between the ages of 2 and 11 and serves the Dunstable and Caddington communities with pride. The ethos of our school is inseparable from the curriculum providing a learning climate in which all children are nurtured and thrive.
Teachers plan learning and support that helps disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs to make progress at a similar rate to their peers. Teaching assistants are used well to support and motivate individual pupils and to ensure they understand what to do. The children, parents, staff and governors of St. Mary's are very proud of our school.
These values are displayed in all rooms and around the school. They are discussed regularly in school assemblies and within the curriculum. All children receive a 'credit card' sized copy of the values during their time at St. Mary's. Each half term one of the school values will become a whole school focus and assembly, led by the Headteacher each Monday, will be led by that theme.
Teachers often plan learning that is fun and exciting. They use computer programs, music and pupils' own work to engage all pupils in well-planned themes. At our Pre-School we provide a happy and safe learning environment with exciting, play based educational activities for children aged from 2 years old.
The headteacher engages well with parents, and has developed a good partnership with the local community. We will nurture a life-long love of learning in every child in order that they achieve their full potential. Through a prayerful, happy and safe environment, we will help each child to grow in God's love as part of a caring Catholic community.
