We hope our website gives you a flavour of what a wonderful place our school is. We value the ability and contribution of every child and nurture this individuality; alongside your as parents and carers, to help grow confident and happy children. At Tibberton school, we believe in offering a broad and balanced curriculum which will enable children to become socially aware, responsible citizens of the future.
Christian Values are at the heart of our school and shape how we learn and treat each other. This ensures a sense of common purpose and mutual respect within our whole school community. Our Christian character impacts upon the achievement of each child in its widest sense, including the academic and personal development of all learners, together with their well-being and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
Primary School is a thriving village school catering for the educational needs of children from rising five up to eleven years of age. It stands in the centre of the village and shares large playing fields with the community. The school opened in the present building in 1971, when Sambrook and Tibberton schools were amalgamated into one school.
There have always been strong links between Tibberton All Saints Church and the school, from when the school was first founded by the Church in the early 19th century to the present day.
These links continue with the Foundation Governors appointed by the Diocese, the weekly school assemblies taken by one of the clergy, the various school services held in the church and also by the school using both the building and the clergy as a resource for R.E. and other subjects. The Christian faith contributes an important part to the ethos of the whole school, as we try together to develop each child's character and potential.
